Rickie Ray McAlpin was born on March 7, 1957, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Opal Evelyn (Turner) McAlpin and J.W. McAlpin. He passed away on April 11, 2026, in Cameron, Oklahoma.

Rickie married Patricia (Smith) McAlpin on September 4, 1992, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who cherished time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Dickie McAlpin; and his sister, Joann McAlpin.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia McAlpin; daughters, Raychel Valdez and husband Cesar, Trista Tindle, and Amanda Adams and husband Timmy; sons, Cody McAlpin and wife Cheyenne, Danial McAlpin, and A.J. Bailey and wife Ashley; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, David McAlpin and wife Danita; his sister, Debbie Warren and husband Butchie; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
