A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the church.
Tara was born on April 25, 1984, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Rosemary (Stanley) Jeffery and Henry Jeffery. She passed away on May 14, 2026, in Spiro, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Jeffery; her grandparents, Henry and Ardell Jeffery; and her grandfather, Billy John Stanley.
Tara had a heart of gold and was always smiling. For the past three years, she battled cancer with remarkable strength and courage, never once complaining about an ache or pain. Even during her own struggles, she had a special way of uplifting others. She loved being an aunt and cherished every moment spent with her nieces and nephews. Tara took great pride in helping others and was known for her selfless spirit. You would never hear her say “no” to someone in need, as she was always willing to lend a helping hand in any way she could Tara was a very loving sister.
Survivors include her mother, Rosemary Jeffery; her brother, Henry Jeffery and wife Lulann; her sister, Natalie Jeffery; her nieces, Amelia, Emma, Rivera, Ravanna, and little Rosemary; her nephews, Baby Henry, Liam, Elijah, and Hunter; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones, and friends.
