Garen DeWayne Weems passed away May 24, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 30. Garen was born on October 26, 1995, in Talihina, Oklahoma to Richard Weems and Melissa Mayhall.
Garen was HVAC Certified, Heavy Duty Oilfield Diesel Mechanic, He was a well-rounded outdoorsman, dedicated husband and father and an avid OU fan.
Garen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gary Wayne Mayhall, Gregor and Linda Weems, his great-grandparents, Katherine Mae Mayhall and Gertie Weems
Garen is survived by his wife, Sarah Jewel (Hogan) Weems, his children, James DeWaye Weems, MaKenna Kaye Weems, Rosalie Raelynn Robinson, Amelia Faye Weems and Ruby LaVerne Weems, his father, Richard Weems and his mother, Melissa Mayhall, his siblings, Kyle NeWall, Caleb Moore, Malerie Olson and Betty Jean Gaines, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm, Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Solid Rock Church 1212 N. Kentucky Ave, Panama, Oklahoma 74951 with Pastor Derick Glasco officiating. Family Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2026, at The Cedars 520 Dewey Ave. Poteau, Oklahoma 74953. Pallbearers will be Bryer Mayhall, Darrin Moore, Jared Bunot, Darren Dix, Lou McCabe, Christopher Mamo, Seth Clouse and Shawn Hogan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bud Mayhall, Greg Mayhall, Kyle Newall, Caleb Moore, Donald Guinn, Daniel Hogan, Aron Sloan and T.J. Sloan
