Don was born on August 14, 1943, in Bisbee, Arizona, to Etna (Pannell) Donithan and Glenny Donithan. He married the love of his life, Carolyn, on December 16, 1965, in Mexico, and together they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, devotion, and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Letha Grow.
Don was a hardworking man who enjoyed a lifetime of trucking and took great pride in everything he did. He had a passion for gardening and found joy in tending to his plants and watching them grow. In his younger years, he loved riding motorcycles and embracing the freedom of the open road. Known for his quick wit and unforgettable sense of humor, Don was often regarded as the best joke teller around, bringing laughter and smiles to family and friends wherever he went. Above all, he cherished his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love and guidance will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Donithan of the home; daughters, Trudy Mills and husband Rod, Donna Newland, Vickie Donithan, and Charmin Minor; son, Donald Donithan, Jr. and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Maxwell, Carla, David, Tony, Samantha, Kayla, Brandee, Sarah, Mariah, Tanya, Derek, Phoebe, Dalton, Issac, Lacey, and Hailey; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Gorman Donithan, Lena Busbea, Lesa Geskos and husband Chris, Vance Donithan and wife Connie, David Donithan and wife Pat, and Ricky Michael Donithan and wife Becky; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
