The SFC Brandon O. Poynter Memorial Highway was dedicated June 19th just south of Howe, Oklahoma. Oklahoma state statute 1698.481 states:”
The section of U.S. Highway 59 on the southeast side of Howe beginning at the intersection of Old U.S. Highway 59 extending north to North Railroad Street in LeFlore County shall be designated as the “SFC Brandon O. Poynter Memorial Highway”.
Governor Kevin Stitt signed the bill into law in 2025.
