John was an avid arrowhead hunter; he worked in the oil field before spending over 30 years as a truckdriver. John was very Patriotic and served for 2 years in the US Army.
John was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betha Wood, his brother, David Bradford and his nephew Rocky Culwell.
John is survived by his children, Cassie Adkins and Austin of Yukon, Oklahoma, Paul Sinyard and Myra of Bethany, Oklahoma, Jake Sinyard and Shannon of Bartlett, Illinois; his mother, Nellie Fern Wood of Shady Point, Oklahoma; his sister, Leah Culwell and Jerry of Shady Point, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Kelvin Adkins and Jazmine, Kalysta Sinyard, Lincoln Townsend, Theodore Townsend and Rowan Townend; his nephews JW Culwell and Jody Whitworth and his great niece Ashton Culwell along with other relatives, loved ones and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services John Paul Sinyard will be at 10am, Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe, Oklahoma. Eulogy will be given by Paul Sinyard, Jake Sinyard and Kelvin Adkins. Visitation with Family will be 5-7pm, Friday, August 14, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma.
