DURANT, Okla. (Sept. 9, 2026)- Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant announced the full lineup for the third-annual Choctaw Music Fest, which includes headliners Wyatt Flores, Cross Canadian Ragweed and Kings of Leon, all of whom have Oklahoma ties.
The Choctaw Music Fest will take place from Thursday, Oct. 8 to Sunday, Oct. 11 with over 20 free performances across three stages, as well as three headlining acts inside the four-time award winning Choctaw Grand Theater. Guests will also be able to purchase commemorative Choctaw Music Fest shirts at Bordeaux for $10.
Flores is a country singer from Stillwater who emerged in 2023 with single “Please Don’t Go,” before releasing his debut album, “Welcome to the Plains,” in 2024.
Earlier this year, Flores received the Rising Star Award from the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Now, he’s preparing for the release of his sophomore album, “Scared of Heights,” that dropped on in July and features singles “Half the Man” and “Runnin’ on E.”
Cross Canadian Ragweed, a staple of the Red Dirt Music Scene, was formed in Yukon, Okla., in 1994 and gained a cult following across Oklahoma and Texas over the next 16 years. The band was on hiatus from 2010 to 2025, but they’re back together, selling out shows, and ready to bring their classic hits to the Choctaw Grand Theater stage for back-to-back shows.
Over their initial 16-year career, the band put out hits like “Alabama,” “Sick and Tired” and “This Time Around.” They were inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2025.
Kings of Leon, the alternative rock band behind 2010 hit “Use Somebody,” is closing out the Choctaw Music Festival on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Three of the four band members spent part of their early years growing up in Oklahoma before moving to Tennessee, where they would eventually form Kings of Leon. They burst onto the scene in 2003 with EP “Holy Roller Novocaine,” quickly followed by their debut album, “Youth & Young Manhood.” By 2010 they’d racked up four GRAMMY awards and two Brit Awards, spanning from Best International Group to Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group.
