Viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Doshie was born on June 9, 1938, in Star, Oklahoma, to Gladys (Jones) Christenberry and Carl Christenberry. She passed away on October 3, 2026, in Spiro, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gladys Christenberry; husbands, Tim Howard and Marion Rouell; sisters, Aline Rhinehart and Regina Christenberry; brothers, Lonnie Christenberry, Dean Christenberry, Jerry Christenberry, Clevey Christenberry, Dewey Christenberry, and Ronnie Christenberry; son-in-law, Danny Johnson; grandson-in-law, Vincent Logan; and several nieces and nephews.
Doshie was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and treasured any opportunity to spend time with them. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s ballgames, visiting with her brothers and sisters, and simply being surrounded by the people she loved.
She also enjoyed going to yard sales and had a well-known love for sweets—even when she knew she probably wasn’t supposed to have them. Doshie had a wonderful personality and enjoyed giving her son and granddaughters a hard time whenever she had the chance. She was honest and straightforward and could always be counted on to tell you the truth, whether you wanted to hear it or not. Those who knew her knew exactly where they stood, but they also knew how deeply she loved them. Her humor, honesty, and devotion to her family will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Rebecca Johnson and Barbara Pickern; son, Jason Rouell; brothers, Eugene Christenberry, Mark Christenberry, and Faron Christenberry; grandchildren, Latasha Johnson and Charles Wright, Jeremiah Johnson and Shyla Williams, Jerrica Johnson, Skyler Rouell, and Crystal Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kennadi Logan, Braxten Johnson, Skilynn Johnson, Remington Johnson, Champ Johnson, Kyndal Rae Johnson, and Kingston Mosley; great-great-grandchildren, Maxen Allen and Karter Johnson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Kingston Mosley, Remington Johnson, Michael Rouell, Jason Rouell, Jeremiah Johnson, Charles Wright, Braxten Johnson, and Kevin Christenberry.
Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters and great-granddaughters.
