TULSA— Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) on Tuesday joined Vice President Mike Pence, Second Lady Karen Pence, Acting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kevin McAleenan, Acting Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Pete Gaynor, Governor Kevin Stitt, and Congressman Kevin Hern (OK-1) to tour flood damage in Tulsa and visit with volunteers at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

“Although I wish it was under better circumstances, it was an honor to welcome Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence to Oklahoma,” Mullin said. “They got to see firsthand the Oklahoma Standard of neighbors helping neighbors and the Vice President reminded us all that with faith, we can get through even the toughest trials. It will be a long road ahead, but I appreciate the support from President Trump and his administration on the federal level and we will continue to work with them through the recovery process.”
