The weather was perfect and the fall colors were beautiful.

Talihina was full of visitors shopping in town, and attending the festivities.

This festival is very important to the economy of the Talihina area.

It brings visitors from all over the USA. The fall festival is scheduled for the time of year when visitors come to enjoy the fall foliage along the Talimena Scenic Drive. Combining the two events give those visitors more of an incentive to visit the area.

If you have questions about the festival would like to serve on the committee for next year, or would like to submit your ideas.

The festival received a grant from The Oklahoma Arts Council. The Arts Council is the official state agency for the support and development of the arts.

The Council’s mission is to lead, cultivate and support a thriving arts environment, which is essential to quality of life, education and economic vitality for all Oklahomans. The Council provides more than 500 grants to almost 250 organizations in communities statewide each year, organizes professional development opportunities for the state’s arts and cultural industry, and manages hundreds of works of art in the public spaces of the state Capitol.
