“An Evening at the Gallery” set for April 8th Featured

The Poteau Rotary Club’s “An Evening at the Gallery” Wine & Arts Festival, to be held Saturday, April 8th from 4:00-8:00pm at the Donald W Reynolds Center in Poteau, is a must attend!


It will feature five Oklahoma wineries that allow you to sample and purchase the different varieties of wine made and bottled in Oklahoma.


Area artists will be here with art ranging from photography, turned wood items, bronze sculpting, stained glass, oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas, fused glass jewelry, Native American art to leather sculpting.


The event will have local restaurants and vendors for you to taste their wonderful fare, and music by the Hourglass Jazz Band featuring Lady D.


There will be a silent auction with a wide variety of items. Each attendee will receive a commemorative wine glass and wine tote.


The Poteau Rotary Club welcomes everyone to come enjoy the music while sampling wine and food, and shopping the wide selection of artists.

Proceeds go to support community service projects such as: The Dictionary Project which provides dictionaries to every 3rd grade student in LeFLore County, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) which is a leadership program for 11th grade students that enhances our communities youth leaders leadership and communication skills while breaking them out of their comfort zones and encouraging service above self, the CASC Scholars Program, The ROC (Rotary Outdoor Complex) which has 13 miles of hiking and biking trails for the entire community.
