We’re thrilled to announce that entries are now being accepted for the prestigious 2026 RedBud Awards—the highest honor in Oklahoma’s tourism industry. These awards celebrate the attractions, events, programs, and organizations that make our state an exceptional destination.
Who Can Enter?
All Oklahoma tourism entities are eligible to submit, and advertising/marketing agencies may enter on behalf of their clients. Entries must showcase tourism or travel opportunities in Oklahoma that were produced, published, broadcast, or held between January 1–December 31, 2025.
Please note: Previous RedBud Award winners cannot re-enter the same category, though Merit Award winners may enter any category.
Important Details:
- Deadline: March 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM (no extensions)
- Entry Fee: $35 per entry
- Payment: Call (405) 942-1121 after submission to pay by card, or mail a check payable to Oklahoma Travel Industry Association
Awards Celebration
Winners will be honored at the annual RedBud Awards Dinner on May 5, 2026, at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Recognition includes features in our monthly newsletter, website, statewide press release, and social media.
Our panel of marketing and event professionals will evaluate all entries. Categories may receive a RedBud Award and/or Merit Award based on scoring.
