Candy Bar Pie
6 regular sized Mr. Goodbar candy bars
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon sugar
1 graham cracker pie crust, homemade or store bought
Crumble the candy into a medium microwave-safe bowl. Heat at 30 second intervals at 100% power until the chocolate can be stirred smooth, about 1 and a half minutes.
Allow the chocolate to cool while you whip the chilled heavy cream, gradually sprinkling in the sugar. Beat to stiff peaks.
Pour candy bar mixture over the whipped cream and fold together until there are no streaks of white remaining and peanuts are dispersed throughout the mixture.
Pour the filling into the crust and spread evenly. Chill until firm, at least 2 hours. When ready to serve, dip a knife into warm water to make cutting slices easier.
Garnish with an additional chopped candy bar and chopped peanuts if desired.
Use a tub of Cool Whip instead of making sweetened whipped cream to make this even easier.
Try using plain chocolate candy bars, or whatever is your favorite.
