Poteau, Oklahoma - The LeFlore County Maidens of Mayhem will host the Oklahoma City Victory Dolls in an effort to help raise funds for one local non-profit organization. Proceeds from the game will benefit the Pervasive Parenting Center (C.P.R.C.).
The game will be held Saturday, May 27th at the Skate-Reation in Poteau.
The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the game will begin at 5 p.m. Skate-Reation is located at 102 Hughes Drive. Cost for admission will be $10;
children under 12 will be free with a paid adult. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs as seating is limited.
In addition to the proceeds from the door, donations will be taken up during the event by filling the player’s helmets.
The LeFlore County Maidens of Mayhem play Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (W.F.T.D.A.) style games. They were formed to help
give back to the community through volunteering at social events, establishments, and fundraisers.
They also work to promote lasting friendships, create a healthier lifestyle, gain a sense of purpose and to bring the community together through training, practices, bouts, and fundraising. That bond extends to beyond the rink through professionalism, organization, and community service.

The organization works to provide a better life for the families in eastern Oklahoma who are coping with disabilities. In the past the center has used donations to help with Sensitive Santa, Sibshops for siblings of children with disabilities, scholarships for students with disabilities, classroom grants for special education departments in eastern Oklahoma, and to bring conferences, trainings, and resources to the area.
