Sans Bois Hospice, LLC to Open New Location in Poteau, OK

Sans Bois Hospice, LLC is opening a new branch office located at 2202 N. Broadway in Poteau, OK 74953. Sans Bois Hospice began in 2014 with a location at 901 E. Main, Suite A in Stigler, OK. Sans Bois opened with a goal to focus on preserving dignity and adding quality of life for our friends, families, and neighbors. The owners, administration, and employees share a common bond in that we each have a desire to give back to the communities that made us the individuals we are today.

Our Hospice team provides expert medical care, pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support as well as bereavement services for the family for at least 13 months after the patient passes. Our team provides: 24 hour on-call, Nursing Services, Hospice Aides, Clinical Social Worker, Pastoral Care, Bereavement Counseling, Respite Care, and Volunteer services. We provide nutritional supplements, medical supplies, home medical equipment, and prescribed medications related to the terminal diagnosis.

Hospice provides care for patients of all ages who are terminally ill and makes it possible for them to spend their last days at home with family. Hospice is holistic in that the hospice team treats the patient, family, and caregivers physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Hospice focuses on life and completing the goals that the patient and family make and does not focus on dying.

Sans Bois Hospice is fully accredited and licensed by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), Medicare, and the State of Oklahoma. Sans Bois Hospice is also a proud partner of the We Honor Veterans program.
