The Cowboy comes alive for Halloween with trick-or-treating, crafts and spooktacular fun across the entire museum

(OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — October 9, 2025) — The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum invites families to dust off their boots and break out their costumes for the third annual HalloWest, a one-of-a-kind Halloween celebration set for Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Kids can enjoy safe trick-or-treating through Prosperity Junction — the Museum’s life-size, turn-of-the-century cattle town that comes alive after dark. Guests will step back in time for a spook-tacular evening filled with candy stations, crafts, Western dancing and hands-on activities throughout the Museum and outdoor areas. Candy alternatives will also be available.

Admission:

  • Free for children 12 and under
  • Free for Museum members
  • General Admission: $20 advance / $25 at the door
