“Bringing back The Girlie Show feels like running into an old friend. We never expected it to happen, but it just feels good – and has been a reminder of every reason we loved it in the first place. The timing came along at a moment that hits in all the right places, and we hope with this new partnership, it is reborn as a perfect mix of all the original goodness and a new flavor all its own,” said Girlie Show founders Dawn Harth, Marilyn Artus, and Erin Merryweather.
The Girlie Show is a fierce art show and party featuring all female and female-identifying makers and creators. Applications are now open online through May 31, and jurors will select 40 female and female-identifying artists to showcase their art during the two-day event.
