Alan Gray 69 years known as “Son Alan Gray” when he was a graduate of Poteau High School in 1972. Alan was born June 9, 1954 in Poteau, Ok and living with his wife of 33 years when he sadly left us on April 20, 2024 of natural causes.
 
Alan was survived by his wife, Kathy Gray, His daughter, Kayla McAlister, 3 grandchildren Garrett , Colton, and Kaylee McAlister of Lavaca, Arkansas,  His sister, Karla Ochoa,  two nephews, Justin and Dustin Ochoa and families of Greenwood, Arkansas, His aunt and uncle, Jack and Marilyn Armstrong of Poteau, Ok.
 
Alan was preceded in death of his mother and father, Gladys and Carl Gray of Poteau,Ok and children, Alan Mack Gray Jr and Alicia M Gray of Florida.
 
Alan was a soft hearted man and giving man. He would actually give his shirt off of his back, give food and shelter to anyone in need.  Alan’s hobbies were collecting antiques and lots and lots of baseball cards.
 
We will miss him dearly.  Alan will be cremated with a memorial on June 9, 2024 on Nyssa, Oregon. He asks for anyone to donate to the St, Jude’s Children’s Hospital in the memory of his name as this organization was close to his heart
