Aledda Jane Marler, 79, passed away on November 24, 2025, at at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Ar.
Aledda was born on August 13, 1946, into parents Johnny Kyle and Katie Bennett.
Aledda spent most of her life in Poteau, Ok working as a manager at Marvin’s IGA.
Aledda was a woman of faith who proudfully served as a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist church.
Aledda is Preceded in death by her Father Johnny Kyle, her Mother Katie Weatherford, her Brother Dixie Kyle, and her Sister Lowanna Kyle.
Aledda is survived by her Son Miechel Corbin, Daughters Machelle Chapa and husband Rick Chapa, Cathy Chick and husband Brian Chick, Nickie Finnigan and husband Brandon Finnigan, Brother Charles Kyle, Sister Kay Drury, eleven Grandchildren, and Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and close friends.
Friends and family will greet for visitation on Friday, November 28th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. At the Cedars on Dewey, 520 Dewey Ave, Poteau ok 74953.
Funeral services will be held on Friday November 28th at 11 a.m. with Jared Graham officiating at the Cedars on Dewy, 520 Dewey Ave, Poteau ok 74953.
Pallbearers are Nick Donathon, Mason Chick, Conner Moss, Trey Jones, and Jackie Harris. Honorary Pallbearers are Rick Chapa, Brian Chick, Mike Corbin, and Brandon Finnigan.
