Alma Lee Hickman of the Page Community, Oklahoma was born August 6, 1930 in Hicks, Oklahoma to Joe Cephes and Ida Lily (Jackson) Kannady and passed away December 8, 2018 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
She is survived by:
One daughter:
Patsy Ann Breeding and husband Gerald of the Page Community, Oklahoma
One son:
Harlan Joe Hickman and wife Tammy of the Page Community, Oklahoma
Three grandsons:
Gary Joe Breeding, Greg Marcus Breeding, and Gerad Patrick Breeding
Five great-grandchildren:
Kannady Breeding, Gavin Breeding, Baileigh Breeding, Carter Pitman, and Gunnar Breeding
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ida Kannady; her husband, Harlan Josh Hickman; two sisters, Louise Hill and Ray Beaty; and two brothers, Carl Kannady and Louis.
Alma was a life-long resident of the area, a housewife, and a member of the Page Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and quilting. Alma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Big Creek Baptist Church with Brother John Mark Little officiating.
Burial will follow in Page Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Aaron Alexander, Jimmy Wells, Duane Taylor, Mark Taylor, David Morrison, and Tony Simmons
Viewing will be from Noon until 8:00 p.m., Monday and 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
