Andrew “Bud” aka ”Puddin” Thompson, Jr., 73, of Rock Island, OK passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his home. Bud was born August 20, 1948 in Hartshorne, OK to Andrew Monroe Sr. & Lillian Thompson. Bud was a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jason; brothers, John & wife Jan, David Thompson; sisters, Doris, Darlene, Ruby and Louise.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons & daughters in law, Andy & Tina Thompson of Monroe, OK, Randy & Amy Thompson of Cameron, OK; 17 grandkids 15 great grandkids and one on the way; sister, Linda Ritter of Poteau, OK; brothers, Harold Thompson of Stigler, Roger Thompson of Midwest City, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am, Monday, November 1, 2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, with Jim Cook & Tony Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Pallbearers will be his sons & grandsons, Andy, Randy, Brett, Blaine, and Dustin. Honorary pallbearers will be Theron, Ethan, Zack, & Zane.
