Funeral Service for Ava Belle Hill, 78 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Reverend Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
She was born on June 2, 1944 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Ruby (Shimpoch) Watt and Cecil Watt and passed away on January 21, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Hill; grandson, David Payton Jr.; son, Scott Saling; brother, Richard Watt; sister, Gayle Castro.
Survivors include her son, Shane Saling; daughters, Gaye McGuinness and husband Shawn, Regina Birckel and husband Rod; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one sister, Karen Saling, a host of friends, and other loved ones.
