Barbara was born on February 27, 1942, to Iva (Stiles) Masterson and Monroe Masterson. She passed away on August 3, 2026, in Spiro, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Donald Smith; her son, Steven Smith; five brothers; and three sisters.
Barbara was known for her ornery personality, quick wit, and fun-loving spirit. She was a faithful member of Unite Church and cherished the many friendships she made there. She dearly loved her faithful companion, Lucy, who brought her comfort and joy. Barbara also loved playing Wahoo and was always determined to win, often finding creative ways to come out on top. Her playful sense of humor and contagious laughter made every gathering a little brighter, and she leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Paul and husband Michael, and Kimberly Bradshaw and husband Jimmy; her grandchildren, LD Paul and wife Deanna, Kandy Hesson and husband Tee, Chad Mathis and wife Leann, Keely Jones and husband Michael, Amber Thompson and husband Shane, Jessica Marrs and husband Jake, Shannon Smith, and Shawn Smith and wife Kim; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her brother, Charles Masterson and wife Deloris; her sisters, Helen Eacret and Mary Paul and husband Manuel; her beloved dog, Lucy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
