Betty Lou (Lovell) Decker, 88, of Bokoshe, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2018 at Fort Smith, Arkansas.

 

Betty was born on March 22, 1930 at Rosedale, Oklahoma to Toy and Minnie Lou (Brantley) Lovell.

 

When Betty was a few days old her mother passed away and was raised by her grandmother, Lucile Brantley.

 

When she was 7 or 8 years old her father married Annie Bell (Harris) Lovell and she was then raised by them.

 

On December 27, 1991, Betty married Alvin Sheridan Decker and they spent 21 wonderful years together until his death in 2012.

 

Betty is survived by one sister, whom she loved dearly, Juanita (Bennie) Johnson of Oroville, California, special friend, Jeanie McFarland of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, several nieces, nephews, her Church family, and many friends and other relatives.

 

Funeral services will be 2pm Monday, May 7, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Bokoshe, Oklahoma with Pastor Cindy Arnwine officiating.

 

Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery in Milton, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma. Viewing for friends with family will be from 2pm – 4pm, Sunday May 7, 2018 at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.

 

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Bray, Dannie Culwell, Charles Henderson, Rob Pollock, Desmond Sides, and Jerry Sides. Honorary Pallbearers will be: JB Bowen, Brian Hays, Ronnie Kingsborough, Robert Pollock, Earl Smith, Sonny Tackett, and Paul Marsh.
