Betty Ruth Reed of Mena, Arkansas (formerly of Waldron, Arkansas) was born December 27, 1934 in Tangapoa Parish, Louisiana to Ambrose and Aggie (Baham) Ard and passed away on March 26, 2021 in Mena, Arkansas at the age of 86.
She is survived by:

Linda Lisa Husser of Fort Smith, Arkansas
Two sons:
Alan Husser and wife Iris of Heavener, Oklahoma
Don Husser and wife Lisa of Madison, Alabama
Two nephews:
Howard Ard, Jr.
Joey Ard

29 great-grandchildren
Numerous other relatives and a host of friends whom loved her very much
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Arthur Husser; her second husband, Bobby Joe Reed; one son, Arthur “Artie” Husser; two daughters, Pollyanne and Jackie; a granddaughter, Brandi; one grandson, Nolan Husser; one brother, Howard Ard; and two nephews, “Buddy” and Jimmy Ard.
Betty was a homemaker and of the catholic faith. Betty loved dancing, fishing, sewing, doing arts, cooking, and was very active in nursing home activities. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Betty will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Roger Husser, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from Noon until 7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday; 9:00 a.m. until service time, Monday at the funeral home.
