Beverly Ann Cooper, 75, passed away on July 03, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas surrounded by her family. Beverly was born on November 2, 1949, in Heavener, Oklahoma to parents Billy Edward and Luiebell (Broyles) Meeh. Beverly worked for over 35 years as a Bookkeeper for Central National Bank in Poteau, Oklahoma before retiring in February of 2021. She was a hard worker and never missed a beat. She would help Jack and Virginia Stanley during tax time every year. One time she went to fill in for the secretary at Tony Kerbow’s Insurance office and before she left that week, she had bought Travellers Insurance on all her family. She was always thinking ahead and would do what it took to take care of and provide for her family. She was a Christian and a member of the Double Branch Baptist Church.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Larry Meeh.

Beverly is survived by her husband Ron of the home, her sons Rodney Lee Cooper and wife Chasity of Roland, Oklahoma, Ryan Lee Cooper and wife Kim of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Randy Lee Cooper and wife Carolyn of Poteau, Oklahoma, her grandchildren Alyssa Cooper, Rylan Lee Cooper, Rossalyn Cooper, Alyah Cooper, Kylor Grace Cooper, and Ariana Cooper, her uncle Jr Broyles of Poteau, Oklahoma, her niece Kaycee Davis, and her nephews John Meeh and Bill Meeh, along with numerous other cousins, relatives, and friends.

 

The Celebration of Life Services for Beverly was held 11am – Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma with Deacon Bill Anderson and Reverend Jim Cook officiating with burial to follow at Vaughn Cemetery in Gilmore, Oklahoma. The Family of Beverly Cooper will greet friends from 6pm – 8pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, also at The Cedars on Dewey. Casket bearers will be Rodney Lee Cooper, Ryan Lee Cooper, Randy Lee Cooper, John Meeh, and Paul Meeh and Honorary Casket bearer Rylan Lee Cooper.
