Bill Carl King of Heavener, Oklahoma was born March 7th 1935 in Blackfork, Arkansas to Frank P. and Lou Bell (Parker) King and passed away November 9th 2018 in Heavener, Oklahoma, surrounded by friends and family at the age of 83.

Robert Carl (Bo) King of Ramona, Oklahoma
Lesa King of West Bountiful, Utah
Cameron King of West Bountiful, Utah

Great grandchildren

Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of many friends


He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Bryan K. King; his grandson, Aaron; one brother, Frank King; and one sister Mary Lou. Bill worked for Reda Pump Co of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and had the opportunity to travel the United States where he learned to love to listen to people.


He was an active rancher loving the land, animals, and good conversations.


He was proud of the Kings Rib House BBQ where he cooked and visited with everyone who came through the door. He was a loving Husband, proud father, good citizen of the community and would lend a helping hand to those in need. Rest in peace, your work on Earth is done.


Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Free officiating. Burial will follow in Lovings Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.


Pallbearers will be: John King, Bo King, Jake King, Jared King, Cameron King, and Tim Thomas.


Viewing will be from Noon until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, and 8:00 a.m. until service time Thursday.


The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
