Billie Jean Pickle of Heavener, Oklahoma was on December 24, 1928 in Weeks, Arkansas to William M. and Emma (Robinson) Tolbert and went to be with her Lord on May 5, 2018 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 89.
She is survived by:
One daughter:
Nancy Tanner and husband Gary of Tahlequah, Oklahoma
One sister-in-law:
Janet Tolbert of Poteau, Oklahoma
Two grandchildren:
Ashley Buckner and husband Gary of Piedmont, Oklahoma,
Randy Tanner of Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Three great-grandchildren:
Logan, Lawson, and Hayden
Several nieces, nephews, and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Powell Pickle; a son, Randy Pickle; and one brother, Jerry Tom Tolbert.
Billie was a life-long resident of the area and a retired secretary for the Burnett Lumber Company and Heavener First Baptist Church.
She was an active member of the Heavener First Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Billie will be missed deeply by many whom loved and knew her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Heavener First Baptist Church with Brother Brock Hardin and Brother John Glinski officiating.
Burial will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Family
Viewing will be from noon until 8:00 p.m., Sunday and 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Monday.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
