Funeral Service for Billie Kinsey, 95 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00pm on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Southside Baptist in Poteau, Oklahoma with Preacher Jim Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau,Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
On Sunday, December 11th, 2022 God called the Sweetest Angel home… Mary Ladd better known as Billie Dean Kinsey, Born May 7th, 1927 in Milton, Oklahoma to Lula Broyles Brasher Ladd and William Ladd of Arkansas. She joins not only her Mother and Father, But 4 Brothers: Harvey, Jack, John and Bill Brasher all of Poteau area, and two sisters, Janida Johnson of Rocky Point, Oklahoma, and Willene Long of Glenwood, Arkansas.
She Married Abe Fonzo Kinsey in 1943 and they both were proceeded in death by 2 infant babies, a son Abe Leroy Kinsey age 1 month, and a daughter, Abe Lou Kinsey age 2 hours, Abe proceeded Billie in death July 25, 1978, Also joining them are 3 sons, Billy Joe Kinsey, Heavener, Oklahoma, James “Jimmy” Rudell Kinsey, and Allen Lynn Kinsey both of Poteau, Oklahoma, and 1 precious, deeply loved Granddaughter, Amber Nicole Stinson of Austin, Texas.
We that remain here without them are Frances Lorene and Al Sisco, of Port Richey, Florida, Carolyn Sue and Steven Schreibvogel, Skiatook, Oklahoma, Michael Ray Kinsey of Blocker, Oklahoma, Cynthia Anne and Walter Waldridge of Blocker, Oklahoma, Larry Dean Kinsey of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Charles Theo and Karen Kinsey of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Sonja Gail Kinsey Calhoun of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Loyd Rudell and Kaylyn Kinsey of Wynona, Oklahoma. She was blessed with 40 Grandchildren, 94 Great Grandchildren, and 10 and 1 on the way Great, Great, Grandchildren.
She loved each and every one of them with her whole heart. She also loved tending her rose gardens and cooking for her family, especially at Christmas, only fitting that she joined her heavenly father this time of year. She will be truly missed, so for those of us that knew and loved her this is not Goodbye… Just so long for now.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 6pm-8pm.
