She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Roop; her husband, Danny Schlosser; her step-father, Troy Maloy; and two brothers, Brian Roop and Harold Roop.
Brenda was a resident of the community. She started her career at Bill’s Dollar Store and then later went to work as a Clerk at the Choctaw Travel Plaza until she retired. Brenda cherished her time spent with family and friends, always sharing her radiant smile that could brighten any room. She was known for her warmth and friendliness, never hesitating to greet a stranger with kindness. Brenda will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Her legacy of compassion and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Funeral service to honor Brenda’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Charley Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Lovings Cemetery in the Lovings Community under the direction and care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home in Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to service time, Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Matthew Schlosser, Cory Schlosser, Tanner Schlosser, Joe Spraberry, Henry Watts, and Rick Roop.
