Brenda was always the helper as a teen. She missed school to help her mom and babysit for every one’s kids, she especially loved the babies. She fell in love with Jack and decided to go on a first date, which was to the Urban Cowboy. They discussed children and decided to start a family. Brenda was so proud to give Jack a son and then three more sons and she stated “it was unfair that she did not get any daughters”.

Brenda lived life to the fullest with her boys and grandchildren from motorcycles to swimming. She loved to watch hummingbirds and deer. Jack says she was definitely the angel that saved him from his own demons. She was my blessing in life for 44 ½ years.

A memorial service to honor Brenda’s life will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Bokoshe, Oklahoma with Pastor Sam Watkins officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma. “LeFlore County’s only on-site crematory” To view Brenda’s online guestbook, www.dowdenrobertsfuneralhome.com.
