Carl Allen Christenberry, 89, of Panama, OK passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 in Spiro. Carl was born March 3, 1930 in Shady Point, OK to Hershel & Blanche (Williams) Christenberry.
He was a veteran of the US Army. Carl was a welder/iron worker for Holmes Erection for 21 years until he retired and belonged to the Local Union 584. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Myrl; daughter, Debra Morgan; sister, LaFaye Qualls.
Survivors include his daughter & son in law, Carla & Dennis Hope of Bokoshe, OK; son in law, Kenneth David Morgan of Shady Point, OK; grandchildren, Kenneth Allen & Shelli Morgan, Kendall & Adrianna Morgan, Curtis & Aubrey Hope, Mandi & Ronnie Painter; great grandchildren, Kailen, Tori, Gavin, Gannon & Graiden Morgan, Brentley Chambers, Waylon & Silas Hope, Oakley & Autumn Painter; brother & sister in law, Eugene & Betty Christenberry; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 1 pm, Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Victory Worship Center, Spiro, OK with Bryan Fouts officiating. Interment will follow at Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK.
The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives and friends.
