Carolyn Gail (Scott) Killion of Arkoma, OK (formerly of Green Forest, AR & Waldron, AR) was delivered into the arms of the Father on December 11, 2025. She was born on September 30, 1944, to Odell & Laverne (Brooks) Scott in Honobia, OK. Carolyn was 81 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd ‘Odell’ Scott & Edna ‘Laverne’ (Brooks) Scott. Her siblings Chet Scott, Marie & brother-in-law James Wigley, -Charles & sister-in-law Carol Scott, Wilma & brother-in law Harold Keys, & Ronnie Scott. Her brother-in-law Ben & wife Mildred Killion, Her nephew Ralph Scott. Her husband of 49 years Roy Lee Killion and her son Alan Lee Killion.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Her daughter Lisa (Killion) Elliott of Arkoma, Oklahoma. Her son Eric Killion of Green Forest, Arkansas. Her granddaughter Avery Nicole Killion of Green Forest, Arkansas. Her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Esther and Mondale Wagner of Waldron, Arkansas. Her niece Kathy & husband Don Parker of DeQueen, Arkansas. Numerous other nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
She enjoyed watching baseball and playing Uno with her daughter, grand daughter & Wolfie (stuffed animal). She loved and supported both of her church families. She attended Jubilee Church in Waldron with Bro Michael Jordan as her pastor until moving to Green Forest in 1995. She then attended Victory Tabernacle/Sanctuary of Hope in Green Forest/Berryville with Bro Kris Villines as her pastor. Carolyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed the years she spent doing substitute teaching. She passed at the home of her daughter with her by her side. Her legacy is spreading the word that no matter the problem, Jesus is the answer. All of the Hospice workers shared that whenever they have to ask a patient if they have depression or anxiety, they always hear Carolyn’s answer of “No, I have Jesus”.
The Celebration of Life Services for Carolyn Killion will be held at a later date. She will then be buried in the family plots at Pilot Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas.
