Carroll was born on May 1, 1962, in San Joaquin, California, to Mary Lou (Spencer) Morgan and Howard McGrath. He passed away on July 19, 2026, in Roland, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Terry McGrath, Kyle McGrath, and Roger McGrath.
Carroll grew up in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, where he learned at a young age to work on cars, diesel equipment, and heavy machinery. He also developed his skills driving dump trucks and operating heavy equipment, trades he took great pride in throughout his life. Carroll lived life to the fullest and cherished spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing and always looked forward to deer hunting with his best friend, Kenny Yates. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the many memories he shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Jo Anno and husband James, and Wanda Wicks; his son, Hugh McGrath; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
