Charles A. Sweazy of Spiro, Oklahoma was born July 10, 1949 in Panama, Oklahoma to Carl and Margie (Tate) Sweazy, and passed away August 21, 2019 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 70.
He is survived by his daughters; Monica Smith and husband Michael, LeaAnn Sweazy-Reichard and husband Jimmy, son Charlie Sweazy, four grandchildren; Brittany, Tasha, Joseph, Rhalynn, great grandson, Jacob, sister, Barbara Potter, brothers; Harold Sweazy, Dewayne Sweazy, Jimmy Sweazy, Mike Sweazy, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; Carl and Margie Sweazy, his wife, Mildred (Potter) Sweazy, infant twin daughters, granddaughter, Hannah, and brother, Joe Sweazy.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charles was a Veteran of the United States Marines and a member of the Army National Guard in Poteau, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be Friday August 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
