Charles “Charlie” Marler, 79, of Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away on August 17, 2026, in Durant, Oklahoma. Charlie was born on September 6,1946, in Poteau, Oklahoma to William and Mary Etta (Martin) Marler.
Charlie served 12 years in the National Guard and was a member of the Freewill Masons.
Charlie is preceded in death by parents and his daughter, Carol Ann Oliver
Charlie is survived by his wife, Janet Marler; his sons, Carl Marler and Tonia Smith, Corey Marler and wife Erin, Darrel Humphreys and wife Jennifer; one sister Nance Hale; his grandchildren, Jennifer Marler, Bryce Marler, Jessica Oldaker and husband Deavin, Colton Jones, Nicole Oliver, Chloe Daniels and husband Nick, Ethan Marler, Clint Billingsley and wife Tabi and Haylee Billingsley; eight great grandchildren with two more on the way, along with other relatives, loved ones and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services Charlie Marler will be at 2pm, Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the First Assembly of God in Howe, Oklahoma with Bro. Daniel Watson, officiating.
