Charles was born on August 25, 1954, in Salinas, California, to Beverly (Oldham) Black and Jesse Washington Black, and passed away on December 11, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Gail Black and Diane Comer.
Charles loved to travel, especially during the summer months. One of his favorite places was Monterey Beach, California, where he made many cherished memories. He was a devoted father, brother, and son who truly never met a stranger. Charles had a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Wherever he went, he seemed to know someone, and his presence alone could brighten any room. He enjoyed watching sports, NASCAR, and the PBR, and he was almost always seen with a smile on his face.
Survivors include his son, Billy Boyster and fiancée Kendra Howard; his brother, Jesse Wayne Black and wife Denise; his sister, Joan Taylor; nieces and nephews, Joe Comer and wife Amy, Saundra Comer, Cynthia Walker, Nathan Black and wife Blythe, and Sarah Taylor; his very close friend, Johnny Morris and family; along with many other relatives and loved ones.
