Chire Ann Archey, 59, of Shady Point, OK, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Shady Point.

She was born November 6, 1958, at Fort Stockton, TX, to Jiggs and Beverly Ruth (Fullen) Archey.

She was a veteran of the United States Army and held an Associate of Applied Science, R.N. Nursing Degree. Chire was one of a kind, generous, loving and compassionate. This is only the beginning to describe some of her great characteristics. She was a devoted nurse that touched many lives through the years. The one thing that meant the most to her was family.

We always knew she had our backs no matter the situation. She was our “rock” that we all leaned on. She had a love for old cars, the 2nd. Amendment, and her country. She served diligently in the Army, never forgetting her comrades. She was always volunteering at Disabled American Veterans Organizations and was a lifetime member of NRA. Chire was the breath of fresh air that could lighten any situation. Her smile radiated through crowds wherever she went. Chire will forever be remembered as the loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her.

Chire is preceded in death by her father, and a brother Shannon Lynn Archey.

Survivors include her daughter Addison and husband Cole McCraw of Shady Point, OK, a son Sayer Smith of Panama, OK, her mother, Beverly Archey of Poteau, OK, two brothers Russell “Rusty” and wife Darla Archey of Sparks, NV, Quint Archey of Fayetteville, AR, two sisters Rhonda Barnett and husband Michael of Bristow, OK, Charlotte Perkins and husband Richie of Shady Point, OK, sister-in-law Kayle Archey of Howe, OK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members, friends, and loved ones.
