Clonda Marie Schalski, 79 of Muldrow, gained her wings to heaven on June 30th 2024 surrounded by her beloved family. She was born October 23,1945 in Booneville, Arkansas.
Clonda was preceded in death by her parents, Marie (Helton) Rogers and Durhen Rogers; her husband, Jerry Gean Schalski; brothers and sisters, Herschel Rogers, Floyd Rogers, Larry Rogers, Effie King, Lilly Hartsfield.
Clonda is survived by sisters and brother-in-laws, Norma Sue and David Spain, Ruth and Wes Reeves and Genevia Cantrell. Sons: Kenneth & Paul Schalski. Daughter: Angela Stewart. Grand children: Timothy Schalski, her wonderful care giver, along with his sons La’Dan & La’Shawn, and Clonda & Matt Urbine, with their children April & Andrew. Amanda & Thomas Shepard and their children Micheal & Nevaeh. Niece: Marie Rogers with her son Levi.
Clonda Schalski was more than a mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was the rock of the family. She was the go to for advice and warmth when you felt down. Clonda Schalski, loved everyone she come in contact with. She was a true saint and she loved the Lord with all that she was.
The family will hold a private family memorial service at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
