Cynthia Elaine “Cindy” Fose, 71, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on November 12, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at White Rock Cemetery in Mulberry, Arkansas. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.

Cindy was born on December 1, 1953, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Mary Frances (Peters) Spessard and Rufus R. Spessard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Linda; and her nephew, Shane.

Cindy will be remembered for her kind and loving heart. She had a deep affection for animals, especially her dogs. Highly intelligent, she was also known for her lighthearted, humorous personality — a balance that endeared her to her closest friends. She will be greatly missed by the group of girlfriends she cherished throughout her life.

Survivors include her son, Josh Fose; cousin, Billy Vanmeter; sister-in-law, Kaye Fose; along with numerous friends and loved ones who will forever hold her memory close.
