Memorial Service for Dale Edwin Baker, 87 of Wister, Oklahoma will be at 2pm on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Forrester Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Mike Steelman, officiating.
Dale was born on September 28, 1934 in Miller City, OH to Edna (Fike) Baker and George A. Baker and passed away on April 16, 2022 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty Baker; and sister Doris Borgelt.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, worked for the Ford Motor Company for 34 years before retiring in 1996. Caregiver for his wife of 15 years before she passed away in December 2021. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph Baker and wife Pauline, Tony Baker and wife Amy; 3 grandchildren Charles, Sophia, and Aaron Baker; brother Dallas Baker; sisters Margie Morris and Phyllis Hastings.
