David Daniel Janway of Heavener, Oklahoma was born July 10, 1953 in Wellington, Texas to Albert Vernon and Wilma Ellen (Heavener) Janway and passed away February 21, 2019 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 65.

Truman Ray Janway and wife Kimberly of Heavener, Oklahoma

One sister:
Willie Lee “Bonnie” Matthews and husband John of Heavener, Oklahoma

Five brothers:
Jim Janway and wife Bobbie of Fort Smith, Arkansas
Albert Lee Janway of Heavener, Oklahoma
Joseph Janway and wife Sherry of Heavener, Oklahoma
John Janway and wife Geneva of Wister, Oklahoma
Christopher Janway and wife Vicky of Heavener, Oklahoma

Six grandchildren:
Kaylie Janway, Katlyn Janway, Tanner Janway, Kendra Janway, Tala Janway, and Nikita Janway

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of many friends

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Vernon and Wilma Ellen Janway.

 

David was a long-time resident of the Heavener area and a Carpenter.

 

He was a member of Hontubby Baptist Church and a former member of the Disaster Relief, and Men’s Baptist Brotherhood Association. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to church, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

 

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hontubby Baptist Church with Brother David Hardin and Brother Joey Bottoms officiating.

 

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
