David Hadley of Cameron, Oklahoma passed away September 11, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. David was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Clarence and Marilyn (Carr) Hadley.

David was a retired truck driver; he drove for over 32 years. He loved to fish, cut hay and was a huge OU fan, above all he loved spoiling his grandchildren, but Karter got special treatment, above the others, McDonalds every day, and he babysit her barbie dolls all day till she got out of school.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Hadley Sr. and Marilyn Marple, his father and mother-in-law, Earl and Peggy Cates, his brother, Arg Stratton, his sisters, Melanie Hadley and Beverly Devine

David is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diane Hadley of the home; his children, David Hadley Jr. of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Desirea Hadley of the home; his brothers, Clarence Hadley of Bonner Springs, Kansas, Chris Hadley of McLouth, Kansas and Michael Hadley of Las Vegas, Nevada; his sister, Michelle Hadley of Kansas City, Kansas; his grandchildren Dallas Hadley of the home, Dacey Jarrett and husband Tanner of Shady Point, Oklahoma, Kole Hadley of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Cindy Hicks of Fanshawe, Oklahoma and one special great granddaughter, Karter Hadley of the home; very special friends Ricky and Trina Ward along with numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Services for David Hadley will be at 3 pm, Monday, September 14, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave. Poteau, Oklahoma 74953 with Rev. Ronnie Robertson officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Ward, Gary Windham, Kyle Ward, Bruce Douglas, Jalen Ward and Rick Lomon. Visitation with Family will be 5-7 pm, Sunday, September 13, 2026, at The Cedars 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma.
