Memorial service for David Howard Cox, 57 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 1:00pm on Thursday January 13, 2022 at Unite Church in Spiro, Oklahoma with Brother Russell Mangum officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
David Howard Cox was born on September 20, 1964 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Sue (Richmond) Cox and Howard Cox and passed away on December 31, 2021 in Spiro, Oklahoma. He was married to Vickie (Neve) Cox on December 30, 1983 in Hackett, Arkansas.
David Cox was a man of honor and integrity who lived his life in dedication to the service of others. He was a man devoted to his ministry and his family. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend. David was truly loved and respected by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. His ministry included playing guitar with various church praise and worship teams, with the latest position being held at Unite Church in Spiro, Oklahoma. He loved working with his hands and discovering how things worked. He loved spending time outdoors as well as spending time with his family. He has impacted countless lives and his love, honesty, humor, and dedication will always be remembered and cherished by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Cox; daughter, Felicia Cox and Brian Weindel; son, Sean Cox and wife Janelle; sister, Paula Cox; mother, Sue Cox; grandchildren, Caleb Cox, Aslyn Cox, Ethan Weindel, Brendan Weindel, numerous other relatives and loved ones.
