Funeral services for David Lee Daggs, 91, of Spiro, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma, with Reverend James T. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Ninnekah Cemetery in Ninnekah, Oklahoma, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the funeral home.

David was born on April 28, 1934, in Minco, Oklahoma, to Seona (Rinn) Daggs and Ruel Daggs, and passed away on January 19, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He married Mae Elizabeth “Betty” (Linton) Daggs on June 2, 1956, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and together they shared nearly 70 years of marriage.

David worked in the oil field for many years, eventually owning his own drilling company. Later, he became the owner of D&D Food Service. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Spiro, later attending the First Baptist Church of Edmond. David was an avid golfer and was a proud member of Twin Hills Country Club and River Oaks Golf Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Don Daggs; his sisters, Vera Mae Eubanks and Rueleen Freeze; and his son-in-law, Gary McClure.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 70 years, Betty Daggs of the home; daughters, Rhonda McClure and Dava Kukuk; grandchildren, Happy Wilson and husband Russell, Carly Waren and husband Rocky, Garon McClure and wife Kerry, and Dustin Kukuk and wife Jessica; great-grandchildren, Olivia St. Clair, Delaney St. Clair, Kamdyn McClure, Sophie McClure, Tru Waren, Laney Spears and husband Levi, and Hunter Wilson; great-great-grandchildren, Waylon Spears and Boone Spears; brother, Jim Daggs and wife Gae; along with numerous nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Garon McClure, Dustin Kukuk, Tru Waren, Russell Wilson, Rocky Waren, and Robbie Kukuk. Honorary pallbearers will be Happy McClure, Carly Waren, Olivia St. Clair, Delaney St. Clair, Kamdyn McClure, and Sophie McClure.
