Deborah was a woman of quiet strength, known for her kind heart and simple joys. She deeply loved her animals, especially her dogs, who were like children to her. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren, Halli and Evan, who brought her endless pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughter Tanisha Ford; her son Daniel Bates; grandchildren Halli Caudell and Evan Caudell; sister Lisa Ford; brother Paul Ford; nephews Nick Foster and wife Nicole, and Adam Enriquez; along with other cherished relatives, loved ones, and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma, with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Visitation with the family will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
