Dewitt Dessell Humphreville Jr.

Dewitt Dessell Humphreville Jr., was born on June 13, 1939, in Roundup, Montana, to Dewitt Dessell Humphreville, Sr. and Josephine (Stefanich) Humphreville. He passed away on August 11, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt and Josephine Humphreville.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Susanna Davis; sister, Ada Morris; brothers, Thomas Humphreville and Robert Humphreville; and close friends, Lonnie and Jenell Cothran.

Dewitt will be remembered for his quiet strength, loyalty to family, and the friendships he nurtured throughout his life. He proudly served his country and will be laid to rest with military honors at the national cemetery.

Graveside services for Dewitt Dessell Humphreville, Jr., 86, of Wister, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
