Diana Gail Lagier passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, in Pocola, Oklahoma, at the age of 55. She was born December 8, 1970, in Fresno, California, to parents Leon L. Lagier and Robbie G. (Stovall) Lagier. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend who had a smile for everyone.
She is preceded in death by her father, Leon L. Lagier; her maternal grandparents, John and Ollie Stovall; and her uncle, Reverend Howard Stovall.
She is survived by her mother, Robbie G. (Stovall) Steinhauer; her brother, John David Lagier and his wife Amanda of Hanford, California; her sister, Pamela Shepherd and her husband Jason of Monroe; her nieces Alyson Brummond and her husband Nick, and Zoey Mason and her husband Garrett; her nephew Conner Shepherd and his wife Katy; her aunt, Marilyn Stovall of Hanford, California; and her first cousins, Leslie Henderson and her husband Larry, and Laurie Blue. She also leaves behind many other cousins and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services for Diana will be held 2PM – Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey, 520 Dewey Ave, Poteau, Oklahoma, with Reverend Brad Hill officiating and visitation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Special Olympics of Oklahoma to honor Diana’s love for them.
