Funeral Service for Don Pendleton, 83 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 11:00am on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Victory Worship Center in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Bryan Fouts, Reverend Andy O’Neal,and Reverend Jerry Green officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma. Viewing will be Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 9am – 7pm with the family greeting friends from 5pm – 7pm at the funeral home.He was born on January 13, 1939 in Pocola, Oklahoma to Jessie M. (Smith) Pendleton and John W. Pendleton and passed away on June 7, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Don was married to Norma Jean (Bailey) Pendleton on December 5, 1997 in Pocola, Oklahoma. Don was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Patricia; sister, Geneva, and two brothers, Joe Pendleton and John Harve Pendleton. He was a Minister of the Assembly of God Church. He loved fishing, gardening and watching sports.Survivors include his wife, Norma Pendleton; son, Larry Pendleton and wife Heather; daughters, Paula Kipp and husband Ed, Tammy Mohaupt and husband Eric, Betty Sandifer and husband Lonnie, Brenda Darneal and husband Royce, Carol Myers, Karan “Soupie” Harper, Lanila Sebo and husband Steve, Lisa Hayes and husband Mike; sister, Peggy Barnes, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and loved ones.Pallbearers will be His Family.You may leave an online message at mallorymartinfuneralhome.com.
