Donald Ray Yandell, age 74, was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, on October 5, 1951, to Omer and Hazel (Fulks) Yandell and passed away on May 3, 2026, in Miami, Oklahoma.
Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He could work and fix almost anything with a motor. He truly enjoyed helping anyone he could. He had a green thumb and loved growing vegetables and flowers. Donald spent most of his life in Leflore County before moving closer to his youngest son.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Omer and Hazel Yandell, one son, Joshua Dwayne Yandell, one brother, Billy Lee Yandell, two sisters, Mary (Yandell) Perry and Billy (Jones) Yandell, one special sister-in-law, Carol (jones) Yandell.
Donald is survived by his wife, Pamela (Chennett) Yandell of the home, two sons, Jason Lee Yandell of Poteau, Oklahoma and Jeremy Lee Yandell and partner Randall Wilmoth of Fairland, Oklahoma, one daughter, Barbara Sheppick and husband Scott of Haywood, Oklahoma, two brothers, Lonnie Yandell and wife Judy of Wister, Oklahoma and George Yandell of Weleetka, Oklahoma, two sisters, Ellen Adams and husband David of Marlow, Oklahoma and Meridith Harp and husband Marty of Jacksonville, Texas, six grandchildren, Jadiah Leigh (Yandell) Rule of Greenwood, Arkansas, Jozilyn Abigail Yandell of Shady Point, Oklahoma, Jesse Lott Yandell of Mansfield, Arkansas, Sean Michael Rorabaugh of Heavener, Oklahoma, Bryden Lace Rorabaugh of Heavener, Oklahoma and Laci Sherri Clowie Rorabaugh of Heavener, Oklahoma and his great grandchildren Bailey Lewis Skiles, Brantley Jay Skiles, Keegan Ryan Lee Stockton, Dixie Rose Rule and Lyric Marie Ann Rorabaugh.
Celebration of Life Services for Donald Yandell will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Summerfield Cemetery Pavillion in Summerfield, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery Summerfield, Oklahoma
